HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Jayson's 29 on 4/15
Dallas' 1st BIRTHDAY on 4/16We had a great time celebrating Jayson and Dallas' birthdays! Jayson has entered the last year of his twenties! He's also accepted that now he gets to share his birthday time with Dallas - I don't think he minds too much. =) On the 15th we had a yummy dinner with the Rowley's - Karen and I made a favorite of Jayson's, sweet and sour chicken - yummy! Then we had ALL the rest of the family come over for dessert and some presents! Dallas got a lot of cute clothes, shoes, and great toys! He ended up with 2 play cell phones and a rotary phone and he loves them all! He also got lots of fun beach toys, a movie, a baby pool, and other fun things! On the 16th, Nana came over and we played and had some pizza and more cake.

I can't believe that my baby is one already!! He is so much fun and it's been such a great year having him around! He always makes us laugh and I love seeing him grow more everyday!
We love you Dallas!!
Happy Birthday big man!

Of course we had to get the cake shots...

Just trying to post...something... =)

The kids are always a good subject --

Recently, we tried to put our pictures on Jay's new netbook, and thinking they were downloaded started deleting the ones Jayson didn't want at the time...yeah...we were deleting the pictures from the camera! We lost a bunch of good ones - mostly of Dallas being a cutie, a stinker, and other fun photos. Oh well. Since then I've taken a few more and I've just got to say that I have the cutest boys!! They are sooo funny and it's always fun to get the camera out and snap a few funny pics.

Dallas loves to climb up here and see what he can get into. He's into everything lately!
Now he's caught!
This is the oh-so-innocent face
And then this is what he's really thinking...=)

It's always hard to get a normal pic of Tucker-he's always cheesing big or looking around...but that's okay!
They sure love playing together!

Our Truck

I thought I'd dedicate a post to our truck. It's a 2000 Ford Expedition Limited Edition. It's not perfect but we like how big it is and it's fun to drive. It rides like a truck but I feel safe in it and it can go anywhere with the 4 wheel drive. It can tow anything and it fits a lot of passengers. Jayson built the rack that's on top to be able to carry bicycles and/or skis and whatever else. On Saturday, Jayson washed it and got it all shiny and yesterday he took some pics. I'm glad my husband can take pride in his big truck. It's not his dream truck, but it's still cool and it does look good all clean with the tires shining and everything. I'm glad my husband is a "big truck" man (it definitely runs in his family!) and we will probably always have big truck and I love it. He dreams of a big diesel pick up and I'm sure he'll get one someday, but for now this big truck is good enough to be proud of. =)

Jett is.....6 Years Old!!!

Happy Birthday Jett!!!
We sure love this kid! He is so great and is such a joy to have in our family! Jett is our BIG man and has grown so much this year! He is such a sweet kid and is obedient and kind. He loves playing with his brothers and he's always a good helper for Mom and Dad. He loves to play games and he's also a great reader and has been enjoying reading the Magic Tree House books, picture books and anything with words on it that he comes across. He also loves to do I Spy, Where's Waldo or Spot 7 books. He's also doing so great in his math - it always seems like he already knows it all, he picks it up so quick. It's fun to teach him! Jett loves to watch movies, play Wii and guitar hero when he can and he loves to play with his cousins, uncles aunts and grandparents. He's a sweetheart and we're looking forward to another great year with our man!

Happy Birthday Bud! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Baby Steps

So this week, Dallas decided to be a big boy and start balancing and taking steps! We have fun practicing with him and he'll take 5-6 steps between us. On his own, he'll let go of the furniture and stand there for a little bit and sometimes try to take a short step by himself between the furniture.
It's crazy! He'll be 9 months old on Saturday and he's threatening to walk soon! He's so much fun right now and always makes us laugh! We sure love this kid!!

Happy New Year!

(A week late, I know!)
Time to catch up! Christmas was great, as always! My sisters and their families came to town and we loved spending time with them. Jayson's brother also came home from BYU and it was great to see him. The boys loved hanging out with all of their cousins and aunts and uncles. It was busy at times but we loved it and had a blast!!

On Dec. 30th, it snowed all day! It was so fun and the boys couldn't wait to build a snowman!
Snow angels!

Dallas hanging out while we play in the snow

He wanted in on the action! His first time in snow.

Our snowman!! I love how Tucker is holding his hand. =)The snow was so great! It was wet and packed perfectly for BIG snowballs.
Jett and Tucker had fun working together!Whew! Ta-da! The big snowball. =)

It all melted the next day but we had fun while it lasted.

We're looking forward to the new year and hope to be a healthy happy family. We're so excited for Jayson as he finishes his last two terms, graduates and gets his journeyman plumbing license! YAY! He's working hard and doing such a great job! We all appreciate and love him so much! Jett turns 6 in a couple of weeks (already?!) and he's excelling in his reading and math. It's exciting to see him learn so fast! Tucker is having fun trying to keep up with Jett. He loves doing his "work" (practicing his letters) and loves to play play play. He also loves being a Sunbeam! Dallas is 9 months old and threatening to walk soon. He's so much fun and is always making us laugh - except at night when he decides to wake up a lot. I'm having fun being a wife and a mom. I stay busy at home and have enjoyed teaching Jett this year and working with Tucker as well. I have the desire to be more crafty and have a new sewing machine to help that along so I look forward to finding some free moments where I can be creative.

Here's to a Happy New Year!
